SES WORLD SKIES VNO service enables service providers and enterprises to offer iDirect hub services without significant upfront investment. The offering combines the SES’ global teleports infrastructure with proven iDirect technology to ensure high service reliability and outstanding Quality of Service. The VNO service provides dedicated space, iDirect Network Management Systems, protocol processors and line cards, enabling service providers to their networks according to their own needs.

SES WORLD SKIES VNO service is designed to maximize performance, provide exceptional reliability and support a wide range of services. Some of the important benefits are:

• A fully bundled service including, space segment, teleport access, iDirect hub resources and Internet connectivity.
• Each VNO is provided with dedicated iDirect equipment in the SES WORLD SKIES hub including the NMS, Protocol Processor and Line Cards – this is all of the hub equipment that is needed to support a network. Additional line cards can easily be added to expand a network.
• Teleport locations provide reliable terrestrial connectivity and infrastructure with strategic access to SES WORLD SKIES global satellite fleet.
• VNO provides a low-cost entry into hub services for service providers who are entering into new markets.
• Existing iDirect hub operators can use our VNO offering to extend services into regions not accessible from their primary hub location.
• SES WORLD SKIES services are supported by the SES Network Operations Center which is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by experienced engineers who can assist customers with all transmission related inquiries.
